Enchanted Rock is the hard core around which the land mass of Texas formed. It has long been held sacred.  Being a holy place, it is the Center of the World, the place where creation began; the home of dreamers.

For almost forty years I made repeated visits to Enchanted Rock in Llano County, Texas. During those visits I took literally hundreds of pictures in both black and white and color.  And it was at Enchanted Rock where I first learned the nature and importance of mythology. This is my homeland and the inspiration for my life's work.   Presented here are a few photomontages born out of this relationship.
